The adjourning phase of a group is
the point in which we must say our goodbyes. For me, the hardest groups to say
good bye to are the ones that worked the best. In good working groups, you
typically create a great bond with the other members and are sad to separate for
the knowing of lack of time you will be spending with them now. When adjourning
comes for groups that don’t work so well, it is easier to leave because there
is not that much of a connection and you are ready to walk away and forget
about it.
When I am done with the masters
program, the adjourning phase will be a point of excitement. It has been great
to work with other people who have the same desire and passion to help the
future of the children we work with. We will all have reached a large milestone
in our professional goals and I will be excited to see what the future holds
for all of us.

Hello Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteThe adjourning phase will be bittersweet from our masters degree program. I look forward to reading the different points of view. It has nice to receive feedback about the challenging situation I find myself in at work. My colleagues in my masters degree program provides me with a different perspective. I will miss our weekly communication and hope that it does not have to end. I hope we can still stay in contact through our blogs. Thank you for sharing.
Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteLike you I do agree that finishing the master's program will bring great excitement. But with that excitement I do believe it will also bring some sadness, as we all end our journey together, once at for all. I also agree with you by completing this program, I do believe we have all reached an important milestone in our lives, both personally and professionally. And I want to wish each and everyone of you future great success, I know without a doubt that you all will continue to make great contributions to the field of early childhood studies. Good Luck & thanks for sharing.
Sylvia
